Introduction

INSPIRO 2025, a premier initiative by the Entrepreneurship and Consulting Cell of SCMHRD, brought together industry leaders, academic experts, and students to engage in panel discussions on consulting and entrepreneurship. Held on 21st and 22nd November 2025 via Microsoft Teams, the event attracted over 200 participants, fostering collaboration and idea exchange.

Consulting Panel

The theme ‘Human Insight, Machine Intelligence: Navigating the future of Consulting in a Dynamic

Global Landscape’ centered on consultants’ authoritative perspective on the convergence of human expertise and artificial intelligence in shaping the next generation of consulting. Panelists discussed how consultants must

adapt to shifting market dynamics, provide strategic insights, and leverage technology to drive success. Specific focus was given to the following areas:

  • Convergence of Human and Machine Intelligence: Explored how the future of consulting is defined by combining the strengths of human expertise and advanced AI/Machine Learning capabilities.

  • Leveraging Machine Intelligence: Detailed the practical applications of Machine Intelligence in consulting, including data-driven decision making, predictive analytics, and process optimization.

  • Irreplaceable Value of Human Insight: Emphasized that ethical judgement, stakeholder empathy, and complex problem framing are critical non-replicable human skills.

  • Future Skills for Consultants: Provided a comprehensive view of the dual skill set, much needed technical proficiency in AI/ML coupled with critical thinking and leadership required for success in this ever-evolving environment.

Esteemed panelists included Ankit Agrawal (McKinsey & Company), Ashish Mittal (Crisil Intelligence), Simi Mohan Kumar (Grant Thornton) and Sanket Deshpande (SGA, x-BCG) moderated the discussion. Panelists also spoke about the value of soft skills, such as empathy and communication, in establishing trust during turbulent times.

Entrepreneurship Panel

The theme ‘Innovating the Future: AI, Startups, and Business Transformation’ provided insights into the the seismic shifts in industry, examining the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the strategies necessary for successful business scaling and transformation. The discussion was structured around the following key points:

  • AI’s Role in Industry Revolution: The panelists emphasized how Artificial Intelligence is fundamentally revolutionizing established industries, highlighting its capability to drive efficiency and create new market opportunities.

  • Critical Factors for Startup Scaling: Insights were shared on the essential steps and strategic considerations required for new ventures to scale their operations effectively and achieve sustainable growth.

  • Strategies for Business Transformation: The discussion covered necessary strategies for established businesses to successfully undergo transformation, adapting to technological advancements and competitive dynamics.

  • Entrepreneurial Journey & Innovation: The speakers shared candid accounts of their entrepreneurial journeys, fostering a spirit of innovation and preparing attendees for future market challenges.

Distinguished speakers included Vinay Chataraju (Kritsnam Technologies), Saurabh Mangrulkar (EventBeep), and Arjun Panchal a Founder and Startup Coach moderated the session.
