Event Report on Onam Celebration
Introduction

Introduction
Onam, the harvest festival of Kerala, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and cultural vibrancy. The event was a collaborative initiative between SCMHRD, SCIT, and SIIB, bringing together students, faculty, and staff to honour the spirit of unity and tradition.
Event Flow
Pookalam Making
The celebration began with the creation of a Pookalam (floral rangoli) at the Atrium. This traditional art form set the festive tone and added cultural vibrancy to the occasion. This was a collaborative effort by all three campuses, symbolizing the spirit of togetherness and cultural harmony.

Onam Sadhya
The highlight of the celebration was the Onam Sadhya, a traditional Kerala-style feast held at SIC Mess 2 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, where lunch was served on banana leaves in authentic style by students, reflecting a spirit of hospitality and togetherness.

Cultural Performances
In the evening, students from SCMHRD, SCIT, and SIIB came together to showcase vibrant music and dance performances, followed by a spirited Tug of War that drew enthusiastic participation, and the festivities concluded with an open dance floor, celebrating the occasion with joy and energy.
