Vrikshak 2025

On the 4th of August 2025, Samatva, the ISR Cell of SCMHRD, celebrated “Vrikshak”, a Tree Plantation Day in front of Dahlia Hostel, Hinjewadi, Pune. The event, which began at 3:00 p.m., saw over 30 dedicated participants, including our esteemed Director, Deputy Director, and faculty members. Together, they planted 12 saplings, symbolizing their commitment to nurturing Mother Earth and fostering a greener future. Each planted sapling represented a promise to the soil that sustains us. The day was filled with a sense of unity and purpose, as participants embraced their shared responsibility to care for our planet. As we returned to campus, we carried with us the joy of contributing to a more sustainable world. “Vrikshak” highlighted the importance of environmental stewardship and deepened our cultural connection to the Earth, inspiring us to take proactive steps towards a more eco-friendly future.
