The vibrant campus of Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development (SCMHRD) was once again abuzz with excitement as it played host to the much-anticipated event, Stratomania 8.0. Sponsored by Orah Nutrichem Pvt Ltd, this three-day extravaganza, organized by the Entrepreneurship and Consulting Cell, unfolded from February 22nd to 24th, amidst the theme of “Think Unlimited”.

Day 1: Consulting Insights and Beyond

The inaugural ceremony held at the Symbiosis SIU Auditorium marked the beginning of a journey filled with knowledge-sharing and networking opportunities. Dignitaries including Director Dr. Netra Neelam and Deputy Director Dr. Rajagopal K graced the occasion by watering the plants, symbolizing growth and sustainability. The release of the prestigious Consulting Casebook 2.0 set the tone for the day’s events.

The Consulting Day commenced with a dynamic panel discussion featuring industry stalwarts in management consulting. Esteemed personalities like Mr. Pankaj Raythatha (Managing Director, Accenture), Mr. Kunal Mitra (Managing Director, PwC), Mr. Chandan Maheswari (Head of Business Development, Avati Consulting), and the seasoned moderator Mr. Gavin Remedios (Experience Design Lead, IBM Consulting, India/South Asia) deliberated on “Effective strategies for client acquisition, retention, and engagement”, providing valuable insights to the eager audience.

The evening session witnessed an engaging discourse on HR Consulting led by Mr. Shishir Swaroop, Industry Lead from Mercer. Students seized the opportunity to interact with the panelists, gaining clarity and inspiration for their forthcoming Summer Internships.

Day 2: Nurturing Entrepreneurial Spirits

The introduction of E-Talk (Entrepreneur Talk) added a new dimension to the event, as Mr. Milind Datar, Co-founder of Canebot, kickstarted the series with his inspiring journey of building a startup. The day concluded with an enlightening session on “Ethics in Business” by Mr. Abhishek Behl, a Professor from MDI Gurgaon, sparking introspection and debate among the attendees.

Day 3: Celebrating Talent and Innovation

The final day of Stratomania 8.0 witnessed a culmination of talent and innovation through various competitions judged by industry experts. Students from colleges across India showcased their skills and creativity in competitions such as Golden Pitch, TradeMaster Challenge (sponsored by StockGro), CaseStrat, Golden Strat, and Enigma. These competitions not only tested their abilities but also fostered a spirit of healthy competition and collaboration.

The event garnered overwhelming participation and enthusiasm from students, who relished the opportunity to learn, engage, and network with industry leaders and peers alike.
