The campus witnessed a vibrant celebration of Pongal, the harvest festival of Tamil Nadu, jointly organized by SCMHRD, SCIT, and SIIB. The day was filled with devotion, cultural richness, and community bonding, bringing together faculty, staff, and students in a spirit of gratitude and festivity.
Event Flow
1. Pongal Puja (9:00 AM – 11:30 AM)
- The celebration commenced with a traditional Pongal puja in the atrium.
- Students and dignitaries participated in the ritual, offering prayers and preparing Pongal in decorated clay pots.
- The atrium was adorned with festive decorations, symbolizing prosperity and togetherness.

2. Pongal Lunch (12:30 PM – 2:30 PM)
- A grand festive lunch was served in SIC Mess Hall 2.
- Faculty, staff, and students enjoyed traditional South Indian delicacies, reinforcing the essence of community dining.
- The meal created a warm atmosphere of unity and celebration.

3. Cultural Evening & DJ Night (7:00 PM – 10:00 PM)
- The evening unfolded with energetic dance performances by students, showcasing classical and folk traditions.
- The cultural segment highlighted the diversity and vibrancy of Pongal celebrations.
- The night concluded with a lively DJ session at the campus grounds, where students danced with enthusiasm, marking a perfect blend of tradition and modernity.
