NEEV 2024

NEEV 2024, the third-largest annual corporate and cultural B-school festival in the nation, unfolded in all its grandeur at Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development (SCMHRD). With this year’s theme, “ENVISION,” the festival embodied boundless enthusiasm and an unrelenting drive toward innovation, setting the stage for an extraordinary celebration of talent, intellect, and creativity.

Held on February 28th and March 1st, 2025, NEEV attracted participants from over 40 top B-schools across India, creating an atmosphere charged with competition, camaraderie, and cultural vibrancy. The festival commenced with Pre-NEEV celebrations including a ceremonious lamp-lighting and cake-cutting ceremony, graced by Deputy Director Dr. K. Rajagopal and esteemed faculty mentors, marking the beginning of two days filled with electrifying events.

From thrilling business challenges to high-energy cultural showcases, NEEV 2024 was an exceptional blend of intellect and entertainment. Informal games like Mystery Chemistry, Beg Borrow Steal, Echo Chamber, and Meme Madness kept the energy alive, complementing the strategic and analytical rigor of the business competitions. The festival saw an impressive lineup of 32+ events, where participants pushed their limits, demonstrating their skills across multiple domains.

The festival’s scale was further amplified by its impressive sponsorship portfolio, with IDFC FIRST Bank as the Title Sponsor, Government of Maharashtra and Learnovation as Co-Sponsors, and SBI & MeGlow as Associate Sponsors. NEEV also collaborated with 2BHK, Tata Projects, Barbeque Nation, Society Tea, Wrogn, Manforce, Be Me, Safexpress, Ease My Trip, Grel Cabs, Unstop, 2.Oh!, Confidential Couture, Ferrero, MyGlamm, and several other prominent brands, solidifying its stature as a festival of unparalleled scale and recognition.

The business competitions were a battleground for the brightest minds across different management disciplines. Kotler Kaun, presented by IDFC FIRST Bank, tested the strategic prowess of marketing enthusiasts, while Synchronize, presented by Tata Projects, challenged the best in human resource management. Finance wizards battled it out in Moneypoly while business analytics specialists tackled complex problem-solving in Cipher, presented by the Government of Maharashtra. 

The crown jewel of the festival, Augustus, presented by IDFC FIRST Bank, was a rigorous and exhilarating journey to identify the Best Student Manager. With uniquely curated rounds assessing every facet of managerial expertise, Augustus not only pushed contestants to their limits but also rewarded the winner with the highest cash prize in NEEV’s history, making it one of the most prestigious competitions across business schools.

Adding to the intellectual fervor was Atlantis Diaries, the exclusive celebrity talk show, which brought together an incredible lineup of speakers, including Mr. Suresh Menon, Mrs. Divya Agarwal, Mrs. Nooshin Al Khadeer, and Mrs. Preeti Jain Nainutia. Each guest brought their own inspiring journey to the table, sharing insights and experiences that deeply resonated with the future leaders in the audience. From stories of resilience to lessons in ambition, Atlantis Diaries left the audience enriched and motivated.

As the festival transitioned into the cultural realm, Verve, the spectacular dance face-off, ignited the stage with breathtaking performances, creating an unforgettable experience for both performers and spectators. 

Panache, the stunning fashion showcase, mesmerized the audience with a blend of creativity and glamour, featuring an exclusive collaboration with Wrogn, making it a true spectacle of style and artistry.

The grand finale of NEEV 2024 was nothing short of extraordinary, as the festival’s electrifying energy reached its peak with unforgettable musical performances. The highlight of the night was Laqshay Kapoor, the soulful voice behind hits like Dil Se Dil Tak, who mesmerized the audience with his heartfelt melodies, creating an atmosphere brimming with emotion and euphoria. Joining him on stage was Sabali, Pune’s renowned band known for their eclectic sound and high-energy performances, captivating the crowd with their signature rhythm and beats. The night culminated in a sensational set by VDJ Shaan, who ensured the celebration ended on an adrenaline-pumping high. The sheer energy and enthusiasm over both days made NEEV 2024 an unparalleled success, leaving behind a legacy of excellence and celebration.
