Analytics club is a student body that acts as an interface between the students and corporate world. Our aim is to help students understand the best practices, applications and latest industry trends in the data science and analytics domain. Started by a group of analytics enthusiasts in 2015, the club ensures regular interactions with industry experts through guest lectures, panel discussions and workshops. Other events such as quizzes and case studies foster learning through student engagement across B-schools in India.

Commencement Of MBA (BA) Programme
In June 2017, the academic year for the inaugural batch of MBA (BA) commenced which is a 2-year residential full-time programme in comparison to the erstwhile one-year full time residential PGPBA.
The increasing availability of data has meant that management decisions can be backed up with solid analytical facts about the data. Tools that were once the exclusive domain of statisticians are now increasingly available to dissect and explore data to expose patterns that are invaluable in decision making.

The Analytics Club of SCMHRD organized a 2-day event for the 1st year students in MBA programmes. The theme of the event was ‘Industry 4.0 with Analytics’. The highlight of the event was the first-ever workshop on Kaggle for students to get practical exposure.
The annual flagship event of Analytics Club was a huge success with eminent speakers from diverse industries coming together for the guest lecture and panel discussion series. The focus of the event was to help future managers get an industry perspective on the topic ‘Future of Management when India @ 100’.
Fidlatica & Avenir 2023
Fidlatica 7.0 had two case study competitions for the first time in its history that led to a 50% increase in registrations from last year across B-schools in India. In the finale event Avenir, the participants brought in various innovative ideas to solve the Analytics case studies floated by our partners Tata Technologies and Tata Cliq.
Regular engagement on social media platforms and Unstop help the club remain connected with Analytics enthusiasts within and outside SCMHRD. Knowledge sharing series ‘Analytics Lens’ is one of the club’s key initiatives that helps break down the buzz around latest topics like Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Metaverse.
