Joy of Giving: A Heartwarming Christmas Celebration

On 24th December 2024, the Samatva Committee at SCMHRD organized the “Joy of Giving” event, a heartwarming celebration of Christmas with the Inspirit kids. The event blended festive cheer, fun, and togetherness, leaving lasting memories for everyone involved.

The day began with engaging games in collaboration with the Sports Committee. Held at the college’s sports arena, the kids enthusiastically participated in activities such as football, kho kho, and a thrilling version of “Squid Game.” The energy and excitement set the tone for a memorable day.

Following the games, everyone moved to a beautifully decorated room, transformed by the Samatva Committee into a festive wonderland complete with a Christmas tree and vibrant holiday decor. The Cultural Committee added to the festive spirit with lively performances, followed by delightful acts from the Inspirit kids.

One highlight of the event was the arrival of Santa Claus, played by a member of the MBA batch, who spread joy and distributed chocolates among the kids. Each child also received a special gift of their choice, generously sponsored by the MBA batch. The joy on the kids’ faces during the gift distribution was truly priceless.

To conclude the celebration, a delicious spread of food and treats was provided, sponsored by collaborators for the event. The kids enjoyed items like cupcakes, food packets with idlis and gulab jamuns, cookies, jellies, and kokum sharbat, rounding off the event on a sweet note.

The “Joy of Giving” was a beautiful reminder of the true essence of the holiday season—spreading love, joy, and togetherness. The event not only brought smiles to the Inspirit kids but also strengthened the bonds within the SCMHRD community, showcasing the spirit of giving and joy it brings
