Vrikshak

On the 1st of August 2024, Samatva, the ISR Cell of SCMHRD, celebrated "Vrikshak," a spirited Tree Plantation Day in front of Dahlia Hostel, Hinjewadi, Pune. The event, which began at 11:30 a.m., saw 20 dedicated participants, including our esteemed Director, Deputy Director, and faculty, come together to plant saplings. This initiative symbolized our commitment to nurturing Mother Earth and fostering a greener and more sustainable future. Each planted sapling represented a promise to the soil that sustains us, a tribute to the natural world we cherish. The day was filled with a sense of unity and purpose, and as we returned to campus, we carried with us the joy of contributing to a more sustainable world. "Vrikshak" highlighted the importance of environmental stewardship, deepened our connection to nature and also reminded us of the cultural significance of caring for our planet.
