MUMBAI FOOTPRINTS 2024

The Alumni Relations Team hosted the Mumbai Footprints on December 1st, an event dedicated to celebrating the enduring bonds formed during MBA days at SCMHRD. Designed to rekindle old friendships, reminisce cherished memories, and create new ones to last a lifetime, the event, held at Hotel Novotel at Mumbai International Airport from 6:00 pm onwards, brought together an impressive gathering of over 200 alumni. The evening was a perfect blend of nostalgia and camaraderie, reflecting the strong connections within the alumni community and their unwavering support for the institution.

The event commenced with the registration followed by a fun engagement quiz. The quiz not only tested the alumni’s knowledge of Mumbai but also fostered connections by sparking laughter, discussions, and friendly competition. It served as the perfect start and set a vibrant and energetic tone for the evening. The event was then addressed by the respected faculty, Professor Manish Sharma, faculty coordinator, Alumni Relations Team, a fundamental support keeping this ever-growing community of alumni alive and together. Following his words, we had a presentation by our Deputy Director, Dr. K Rajagopal. He shared with the alumni an overview of the institution’s remarkable performance of the current batches in placements and other milestones.

Next, the Alumni Relations Team hosted an engaging activity where alumni interacted with others at their table, learning interesting facts about one another. This allowed alumni from different batches to connect, share experiences, and build new relationships. Following the activity, the evening continued with a presentation by the Director, Dr. Netra Neelam. She shared with the crowd an overview of the institution’s recent achievements, not only celebrating the progress and growth of the institution but also reinforcing the pride and connection that alumni feel as part of its legacy.

The event concluded with a formal photograph, capturing the unforgettable memories of the evening, followed by a joyful cake-cutting session. Alumni then enjoyed a delightful dinner, sharing feedback and reflecting on their cherished SCMHRD memories. The Alumni Relations Team organized a special memory wall, providing a creative space for alumni to write their reflections, adding a personal touch to the event and strengthening the bonds of the alumni community.

The event concluded at 10:30 PM, marking the end of a successful and memorable evening. With meaningful connections made, fond memories rekindled, and a sense of pride in the institution’s achievements, Mumbai Footprints was a huge success.
