Bengaluru Footprints 2024

The Alumni Relation Team of SCMHRD, organized its flagship event- Footprints in Bengaluru on 23rd November 2024.The unique evening that brought together alumni from across two decades — spanning batches from 2001 to 2024. The “Bengaluru Footprints” event began at 7:00 PM with a warm welcome to all the alumni and the Director, Deputy Director and Faculty incharge of SCMHRD. This gathering of former students and professionals, created a rich tapestry of shared experiences, and inspiring connections.

The formal event began at 8:30 PM with a capturing address by Dr. Manish Sinha (faculty, SCMHRD) which set the mood to the motto of the event- Let the Good Times Roll.Then, the Dr. K. Rajgopal (deputy director, SCMHRD) shared his words of wisdom and further added to the enthusiasm of the evening. Finally, Dr. Netra Neelam (director, SCMHRD) succinctly delivered upon the event and garnered everyone’s attention through her inspiring words.

The energy of the event peaked as all attendees gathered for a group photo, a symbolic moment to capture the collective spirit of the evening. It was a sight to behold: alumni from 2008 to 2024 standing side by side, a powerful visual representation of how Bangalore’s alumni network has grown, evolved, and thrived over the years.

Following the group photo, the festivities continued with a cake-cutting ceremony. The act of sharing cake wasn’t just about sweetness — it was about marking a milestone in the collective journey of alumni who had made their mark on the city in countless ways. The event fostered a rich exchange of ideas and collaborations. The Alumni relations Team carried out various other engagement activities for the alumni as well, to keep the event as lively as possible. After the cake had been cut and shared, guests were invited to enjoy a sumptuous dinner. Conversations flowed freely, ranging from personal anecdotes and their current professional endeavors.

As the event wrapped up at 9:30 PM, attendees left with more than just memories. They left with new connections, fresh ideas, and a renewed sense of pride for their association with SCMHRD.
