YASHASVI 8.0
The Management Committee at Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development (SCMHRD) is elated to announce the successful conclusion of YASHASVI 8.0, a flagship management conclave that has set new benchmarks as one of the largest and most influential events in the country. Over three engaging days from 18th – 20th Nov 2024, the conclave brought together an illustrious cohort of industry leaders and professionals, fostering an invaluable exchange of ideas and practical insights for the student community.
The Sanskrit term YASHASVI, meaning “successful,” aptly embodies the event’s mission of triumph through perseverance and innovation. This year’s theme, “Manthan Momentum: Churning Ideas into Reality,” captured the transformative essence of converting concepts into actionable outcomes, emphasizing creativity, resilience, and the power of execution.
The conclave featured an enriching agenda of leadership talks and panel discussions. Sessions such as “Cultural Competency: Developing Culturally Competent HR Practices”, “The Art & Science of Defining, Building, and Sustaining a Brand” and “Democratizing Data: Making Analytics Accessible Across the Organization” stood out for their relevance and depth.
The opening panel discussion, “Design Thinking: A Structured Approach to Innovation,” explored the profound impact of Design Thinking on marketing strategies, data collaboration, and cross-sector synergies. Panellists included Subramanian Chidambaran, Chief Strategy Officer at Cummins India; Sangharsh Kesar, Operations Director at BNY Mellon; Chandi Prasad Ojha, CTO – Insurance at LTI Mindtree; and Amreesh Kher, Chief Business Officer – Insurance at Tata Digital. Their dialogue shed light on the structured innovation processes that drive sustainable change.
The event was further enriched by the presence of distinguished speakers, including Priya Sriram, Human Resources Director at Sonora Software Pvt Ltd; Suhas Arora, Principal – Compensation and Benefits at Oracle; Neha Vyas, Director – Employer Branding at Pattern; Anil Dhale, Head of Human Resources at INOX Air Products; and Umang Maheshwari, Head of the Consulting & Research Practice at Schbang. Their insights inspired students to approach challenges with a forward-thinking and solutions-oriented mindset.
Moderating these intellectually stimulating sessions were SCMHRD’s esteemed faculty members, including Dr. Tejas Shyam, Dr. Manish Sinha, Dr. Monika Kunte, and Dr. Gauri Joshi. Their expertise and guidance elevated the quality of the discussions, making the event profoundly engaging and impactful.
