Cleanliness Drive ‘24 – “Celebrating Swachhata Pakhwada”

On 14th September 2024, as part of the Swachhata Pakwada campaign, Samatva, the ISR Cell of SCMHRD, organized a meaningful cleanliness drive to contribute towards a cleaner environment. With the slogan “Haath Milao, Safai Badhao” guiding our efforts, the event began promptly at 10:00 AM, as we set off from the SCMHRD campus along with 16 team members, 13 student volunteers, and faculty mentors.

We first cleaned the Hinjewadi Post Office area, and then moved to the Hinjewadi Police Station. The team worked diligently, equipped with masks and gloves for safety, and by 11:00 AM, the drive was successfully completed.

This initiative was a valuable part of aligning with the Government of India’s mission to promote cleanliness and hygiene. The experience strengthened our sense of responsibility toward the environment, and the unity and teamwork displayed throughout made it a memorable day for all involved.
