Introduction

The Republic Day of India was celebrated with great pride and patriotic spirit at SIU Campus hosted by SCMHRD.The event was organized to commemorate the adoption of the Indian Constitution and to honor the values of democracy, unity, and national integrity. The celebration brought together students, faculty members, and staff, fostering a sense of national pride and collective responsibility within the SIU community.

Inauguration and Flag Hoisting

The celebration commenced with the ceremonial hoisting of the National Flag by the Director of SCMHRD Dr. Akhil Damodaran along with Dr. Dhanya Pramod(Director SCIT) and Dr. Alka Maurya(Director SIIB), followed by the National Anthem marking the official beginning of the Republic Day event. This solemn moment set a respectful and patriotic tone for the day.

Following the flag hoisting, an address was delivered by the Director of SCMHRD Akhil Damodaran and the Campus Administrator, Col. S. K. Mishra, emphasizing constitutional values, unity in diversity, the role of youth in nation-building, and the responsibilities of citizens in strengthening the nation.A special video message by Honorable Chancellor, Dr. S. B. Mujumdar was presented, highlighting the vision of the nation, the importance of education, values, and service to society.
